Frequently asked questions

How many boxes of flooring do I need?

Divide the room area by the coverage printed on the box, then add wastage โ€” 8% for planks, 10-12% for tile and marble. Always round up: a part box does not exist.

Why should I buy a spare box?

Because planks get damaged years later and ranges get discontinued. A single spare box is the difference between swapping one plank and relaying the room, and it costs very little to keep.

Does this include fitting?

No, material only. Underlay, beading, skirting and the adhesive or click-lock are separate, and fitting is normally quoted per square foot on top. Ask whether the quote includes levelling the subfloor โ€” that is where surprises come from.
